Title: Electrical Systems Engineer
Location: Houston, Texas
Description: Summary: Perform engineering duties including organization of all activities required for the development and implementation of the System Study or System Protection for a given project. Extensive knowledge of all aspects of electrical system study or protection engineering are required. Education / Experience: Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering with a strong background in power from an accredited university. Must be a licensed professional engineer. If employee is licensed in a state other than Texas employee must be able to obtain a Texas P.E. license within one year of date of hire. A minimum of 4 years of direct experience in either electrical system studies or system protection engineering and design is required. Qualifications: Demonstrate skills in the following: ·Strong knowledge and understanding of three phase power systems ·Strong Knowledge and understanding of per-unit mathematics and symmetrical components ·Demonstrated ability to perform power flow, short-circuit and coordination studies using SKM and/or ETAP software ·Demonstrated ability to program GE, Multilin, ABB and SEL Protective Relays for transformer, bus, differential and feeder protection with some exposure to transmission protection settings ·Knowledge of common word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail software ·Be able to work in a team environment ·Be able to communicate effectively with co-workers Call 281 313 1500 for more information or submit your resume/CV to resumes1@e-techweb.com. www.e-techweb.com
